Real Estate Inspections are recommended on all properties prior to closing on the property. This means a structural and a pest/termite inspection. While not absolutely required by Texas law, it is in the buyer's best interest to find out about the property they plan to purchase. Texas Property Code requires that all Inspectors be licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission. Make certain you hire an inspector who is licensed as required by law. Many of the inspectors listed below will perform all of the inspections you require. However, they normally do not inspect your security system. You will need to hire a security monitoring company to check out the system if you wish the system to be inspected.
